Hiroshi is a flirt and lover of women, and is also very concious about is looks. He is well liked by the female portion of the student body, and is rarely seen without his fangirls at his flank. In a magazine interview on up and coming tennis players, he stated that he wanted to play Seigaku, because "That place is full of weirdos." Hiroshi has the ability to copy any technique he sees, giving him the nickname "The Pretender". His style of the pretender allows him to exactly copy techniques and even more subtle things, like grip changes or even facial expressions of his opponants, and even famous players like Pete Sampras, just by watching them play. During his match with Kaidou, he even manages to copy Kaidou's play style *almost* perfectly.. But soon realizes it takes more than just watching to compete with Kaidou's skills.
